Building a Strong Story Scaffold

Based on Author Accelerator’s “Blueprint for a Book,” this four-session package helps you clarify your purpose, refine your idea, pinpoint your target audience, and construct the scaffold on which you’ll build your book. I’ll provide a template you’ll use to create your table of contents, a concise and compelling overview, book cover copy, and more. You’ll turn in one section during each of four sessions. 

THIS IS FOR YOU IF:

  • You have too many ideas and can’t choose
  • You have an idea but don’t know how to turn it into a book
  • You’re not sure your idea is viable
  • You know where you want to go but don’t know how to get there
  • You need help organizing and structuring your content 

WHAT YOU’LL GET AFTER EACH OF THE FOUR DEADLINES:

  • Detailed feedback in the form of inline comments
  • An editorial letter summarizing the feedback and providing suggestions for revision and next steps
  • A 45-minute Zoom or call to discuss your work and my recommendations. 

TIME FRAME:

Usually two months, with deadlines every two weeks, but the schedule can be customized to your needs 

INVESTMENT:

  • $895
  • $200 for each additional session

WHEN WE’RE DONE:

You’ll be ready to complete a draft of your manuscript, prepare a book proposal to submit to agents, or choose to continue coaching to further develop your project.
